How to download files on zip drive

Thread starter TwingleMum Start date Jan 4, Joined Dec 12, I need to download files on a home computer to a zip drive. I am technically challenged. Could anyone explain in simple language to me how to do it?? Will it down load all the computer files on the computer mine as well as my DH and kids?? My DH is less computer savy as me What do I buy? Is any zip drive OK??? Are they sold with different storage capacities??

I read that there is a limit to the size of the zip and the number of files. What if it is bigger, will it split into multiple downloads? You can download up to 2GB at a time. This is the limit. Anything above 2GB just won't download. I dot not have enough files to check the upper limit though. I shared a folder with a friend through a link. He does not have to sign in to see the folder content.
